Pink honors Olivia Newton-John with a tribute performance at the American Music Awards
Pink set up in honor of legend Oliva Newton-John at the upcoming 2022 American Music Awards.
The So what The singer was chosen to commemorate the life and talents of Newton-John, a 10-time AMA winner, after she passed away from a lengthy battle with breast cancer in August.
The AMAs will take place November 20 at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles and will stream the following day on Hulu.

Newton-John died on August 8 at the age of 73, with news that shocked the world.
In addition to being an AMA winner, the Australian artist is also the host of the coveted awards ceremony, co-hosting the ceremony with Aretha Franklin and Glen Campbell in 1976.
Pink herself praised Newton-John after her death, calling the beloved Australian an “angel”.
After hearing the news, the 43-year-old man shared a photo of her and Newton-John, wrote, “I’ve probably met her three times—and she really is an angel.
“One of the loveliest, kindest inner lights I’ve ever met. Kindness personified. May she rest in peace and may her family be loved and lighted. in this difficult time.”

Pink will perform some of Newton-John’s greatest hits for the ceremony honoring the music and will be joined by a list of other artists who also honored several other stars of the night, including Stevie Wonder. , Charlie Puth and Ari Lennox, who will honor Lionel Richiewith the recipient of the Icon Award
