Pokémon Scarlet and Violet’s Best Revelation Is a Fake Documentary
The Pokémon Company has revealed the latest evil little monster that will appear in Pokémon Scarlet and Violetand it completely scales. Grafaiai, as the name somewhat implies, is a graffiti artist and he is tagging your plants.
Pokémon are really upping their game when it comes to socializing and revealing, and Grafaiai’s is a great example. As with last year was weirdly scary Arceus advertisement, this latest is in the form of a documentary. But there is no fear or death implied this time: instead it is just some low-level act of public vandalism.
I’m joking. Graffiti (with the obvious exception of Banksy’s tedious hack) is art, and Grafaiai is a legitimate artist. I’m really looking forward to seeing Pokémon’s cards appear in the real world.
The name seems to be a combination of “Graffiti” and “AiAi”, the star of Monkey Ball (I won’t change my mind about this), Grafaiai is actually a new type of Monkey, specifically a “Poison Monkey Pokémon”, as its paint color is clearly poisonous. Here are its key metrics, revealed today:
Type: Poison Monkey
Type: Poison / Normal
Height: 2’4″ (0.7 m)
Weight: 60 lbs. (27.2 kg)
Ability: Unburden / Poison Touch

We’re told that it is a nocturnal Pokémon and is “mood with a difficult personality.” A loner, it seems to always compete for territory with other monsters, during which time it uses “poisonous saliva” to attack its enemies! Crikey, calm down, baby monkey. Its saliva changes color based on what it eats, which I hope is about the berries and not its victims, but I am not confident as it seems to lick its nails and then slash its objects. to continue poisoning them.
Hello. I’m Kotakuresident toxicologist and I would like to point out that this Pokémon is by no means “poisonous”, but in fact “venomous”. It’s venom in its saliva and on its claws, not poison. It will be “poisonous” if its poison enters other creatures when they eat it. Thank you.
This is the 13th day Brand new Pokémon will be revealed for this November Pokémon Scarlet and Violetwith collection of lovely startersthe motorcycle legendariesand very edible Lechonk and Fidough. Please don’t try to eat either if they just met Grafaiai.
