As we reported, despite the drama surrounding their release Netflix documentary series, the couple would still be welcome to see the 74-year-old monarch officially ascend to the throne in May. Why? Yes, a shared source Dailymail.com that no matter how unhappy Charles was with what happened, they were still a family at the end of the day:
“Harry is his son and Your Majesty will always love him. While things are difficult at the moment, the door will always be left open.”

However, Meghan and Harry may not consider attending unless they get an in-person summit AND an apology from the royal family! Based on MirrorThe Duke and Duchess of Sussex are requesting a “sit-down meeting” with senior members of the family to ask them to “take responsibility” for what they have done to them over the years.
Sunday Times note that Meghan and Harry want the conversation to take place before they can attend the coronation on May 6, which coincides with their son’s date. Unfortunately, it looks like an apology might be nothing more than wishful thinking at this point. Sunday Times insists the palace has no plans to hold a meeting with the Sussexes, nor will William be in contact with his brother right now. But of course, Harry realized during the documentary series that he and Meghan “probably will never accept real responsibility or a sincere apology” for their family members. However, a senior member of the palace mentioned:
“If they want to contact the King, they know where he lives.”
