Priscilla Presley is challenging the validity of an amendment to her late daughter Lisa Marie Presley’s will that would remove her trustee status and would give her grandchild a large stake in the Graceland empire.
Lisa Marie removed her mother and former business executive, Barry Siegel, as co-trustees of her will in 2016, according to a lawsuit filed by Priscilla’s attorneys, and replaced them with her children. hers, Riley and Benjamin Keough.
Benjamin Keough died in 2020, leaving Riley Keough, a 33-year-old actor, as the sole trustee.

Priscilla’s lawsuit alleges that she was not notified of the amendment to her daughter’s will until after her death. Lisa Marie died on January 12 at the age of 54 after being hospitalized for cardiac arrest. She is the only child of Elvis Presley.

The petition also claims that the revision misspelled Priscilla’s name and questions the authenticity of Lisa Marie’s signature.
“(Signature) does not appear to match (Lisa Marie Presley’s) conventional and conventional signatures,” the document states, as reported by CNN.
Other claims in the lawsuit allege that the revision was not notarized, it existed only as a PDF copy, and that Lisa Marie’s signature was on a blank page in the document, with no language involved. change of trustee.

In 2005, Lisa Marie sold a majority of her ownership interest in Graceland Holdings, the parent company of Elvis Presley Enterprises. At the time of her death, she owned 15% of the company’s shares.
Lisa Marie is also the sole owner of Graceland Mansion, Elvis Presley’s former home and tourist attraction today. The property includes 13 acres of land, as well as the remains of Elvis Presley’s personal belongings such as costumes, awards, and cars.
The exact cause of Lisa Marie’s death has not been revealed by the Los Angeles County coroner.
