TEHRAN: Iran eliminated moral police units after more than two months of protests over the arrest of Mahsa Amini for allegedly violating a strict women’s dress code, local media said.
“Police Ethics has nothing to do with justice” and has been abolished, Minister of Justice Mohamad Jafar Montazeri was quoted as saying late on Saturday by ISNA Press Agency.
