“I decided to choose Dawgs because I felt at home there,” Aguero said. “Everything is fine with UGA. It just feels like home.
“I feel like coach Muschamp, Kirby Smart and coach Fran all make me feel like I belong there and that’s where it needs to be,” he said. “It just feels right to be there.
“I spoke to a few players and I know a few there,” Aguero said. “They told me it was a grind and I loved the grind so it was something I wanted to be a part of. I know that’s all that will get me where I want to be.
“I’m really flexible so they can see me playing nickel and be safe, like Lewis Cine almost,” he said. “It means a lot (compared to him). That motivates me to do better. I’ve been following him since I was growing up. We are really great together. I also always talk to him on the phone. It played a certain role because he told me everything about the school. It certainly helped. “
Aguero is an intimidating presence on the sideline. He has the strength and physicality to make an impact against the track but he is a very solid feeling in the coverage. Aguero makes a lot of plays, displaying impressive athletic prowess and explosiveness in the process. He is a very disciplined player with a high football IQ. Hopefully Georgia uses Aguero as a nickel/safe where they can move him around and take advantage of his versatility.
