Marvelous revealed today that they are working on several new games, including Rune Factory 6, Rune Factory: Project Dragon, the new Story of Seasons, and Daemon X Machina Titanic Scion.
Rune Factory 6 is currently in development and the game will take place in the western continent of Adonea. Rune Factory: Project Dragon is a spin-off set in the “Eastern Lands”. Settings of the latter have been referenced throughout the series but are never shown. Project Dragon is inspired by Japanese culture and will represent the East while Rune Factory 6 represents the West.

The next Story of Seasons game will explore the theme of “experience”. Series manager Hikaru Nakano says that a future entry is one where everyone can play against each other, which could hint at some cooperative or multiplayer aspect.
Daemon X Machina: Titanic Scion is the sequel to Daemon X Machina 2019. Producer Kenichiro Tsukuda will return to the game. Back in 2021, Tsukuda confirmed that a third-person shooter sequel is in development.

Project Magia and Project Life is RPG were also revealed. The previous installment was directed by producer Takehiro Ishida and revolved around the theme of “a new frontier”. The development team collaborated with Fairy Tail writer and illustrator Hiro Mashima to design the game’s characters. The latter is a new IP directed by Ittestsu Suzuki and aims to capture the “feeling of expectation” by showing all the ways life is like an RPG.
So far, Marvelous has not set any release date or timeframe for any of these games. In the meantime, fans can play Daemon X Machina And Rune Factory 5both are available on Nintendo Switch and PC.
