Sanga beat the former champion on NXT 2.0

NXT Superstar Sanga defeated former NXT Tag Team Champion Wes Lee in the latest episode of NXT 2.0.

After Lee was attacked by Von Wagner on NXT last week, Sanga offered to help him. He then made a comment on Lee’s size, which the former tag team champion questioned, challenging the India-born star to a match for next week’s show.

After a heated behind-the-scenes interview on this week’s episode, Lee took to the ring with his ribs glued on for his battle with the Indian superstar. Despite his injuries, Wes managed to pull off some impressive high-flying attacks, causing the large man to shake several times.

In the end, the size difference proved to be too much compared to MSK members, who constantly find themselves overwhelmed. Sanga ended the match with a huge deadlock, keeping Lee on the count of three.

After the match, Xion Quinn emerged to insult Lee’s injury before Sanga returned to the ring to assist his opponent.

It will be interesting to see if an alliance between Lee and Sanga exists and what Xion Quinn’s reaction will be. You can read more about NXT 2.0 by clicking here.
