Investment.com – Saudi stocks fell after the close on Thursday, as losses in sectors sent shares lower.
Closing in Saudi Arabia, the coin fell 1.29% to a 3-month low.
The best performer of the session was Wafrah for Industry and Development Company SJSC (TADAWUL:), up 9.98%, or 4.90 points, to 54.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Alinma Tokio Marine Co (TADAWUL:) gained 9.61% or 2.04 points to end at 23.26 and Etihad Etisalat Co (TADAWUL:) gained 6.88% or 2.35 points to 36 ,50 at the end of the session.
The worst performing stocks of the session were Al-Rajhi Insurance Cooperative (TADAWUL:), which fell 10.00% or 9.50 points to trade at 85.50 at the close. Saudi Industrial Export Co (TADAWUL:) fell 9.98% or 6.30 points to end at 56.80 and Tihama Advertising & Public Relations (TADAWUL:) fell 9.98% or 10.30 points to 92.90.
The number of shares that fell more than the number of shares that increased in price on the Saudi Stock Exchange increased from 189 to 44 and 6 shares were unchanged.
Tihama Advertising & Public Relations (TADAWUL:) shares fell to a 52-week low; lost 9.98% or 10.30 to 92.90.
Crude oil for July delivery fell 2.30% or 2.65 to $112.66 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodity trading, Brent for August delivery fell 2.26%, or 2.68, to $115.83 a barrel, while August gold futures were up 0.45% or 8, 15 to $1,827.75 an ounce.
EUR/SAR was unchanged 0.04% to 3.92, while USD/SAR was unchanged 0.01% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures index was down 0.36% at 104.56.
