Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the industry and sector sent shares lower.
Closing in Saudi Arabia, the index fell 0.24%.
The best performing stock of the session was Tourism Enterprise Co. (TADAWUL: TADAWUL:), up 10.00% or 2.65 points to trade at 29.15 at the close. Meanwhile, Al Moammar Information Systems Co. CJSC (TADAWUL:) rose 6.40% or 5.80 points to 96.40 and Saudi Automotive Services Co. (TADAWUL:) rose 3.31% or 1.00 points to 31.20 by the end of the session.
The worst performers of the session were the Saudis Amiantite Co. (TADAWUL:), fell 7.15% or 2.65 points to trade at 34.40 at the close. Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication (TADAWUL:) fell 6.88% or 3.90 points to 52.80 and Saudi Industrial Export Co (TADAWUL:) fell 5.47% or 2.00 points to 34.55.
Fallers outnumbered gainers on the Saudi Stock Exchange from 181 to 59 and 14 ended flat.
Crude oil for January delivery fell 0.77%, or 0.60, to $77.34 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodity trading, Brent for January delivery fell 1.21% or 1.03 to $84.38 a barrel, while December gold futures were up 0.62% or 10.75 to 1,756.35 USD/troy ounce.
EUR/SAR rose 0.24% to 3.92, while USD/SAR was unchanged 0.03% to 3.76.
US Dollar Index futures fell 0.29% to 105.66.
