Say Yes to the dress star Randy Fenoli is used to hearing wedding bells, but it won’t be long before he hears his own bells.
Fenoli, a wedding dress designer and former fashion director of Kleinfeld Bridal, has officially proposed to her life partner of almost a year, Mete Kobal.
On Instagram, Fenoli, 58, confirmed the romantic news, writing: “YES! It is official! We are engaged!!”

He shared a photo of himself and Kobal in matching blue suede suits, wearing their new silver engagement rings.
“We love each other so much! Thank you so much!” Fenoli wrote on Instagram.
Renowned wedding and event organizer Marcy Blum, who helped arrange the proposal, also tagged Fenoli in a series of photos. She shared an image of Fenoli kneeling in front of Kobal on a small stage surrounded by pink and purple flowers.
“It’s not a dress, but @metekobal said yes to @randyfenoli,” Blum wrote. “My longtime friend Randy, got engaged to his love last night, family and friends were there to celebrate.”
Fenoli told People magazine that he proposed to Kobal at the Marmara Park Avenue hotel in New York City. Fenoli had told Kobal that they would have dinner at the Museum of Modern Art but instead surprised him with the offer.
The couple have been together since January. According to People, they met in Marmara – where Kobal was working as a restaurant and bar manager at the time – and have been together ever since.
The proposal was huge and lavish, with 50 guests in attendance, all of them friends and family. Some of Kobal’s friends from Turkey, his home country, monitored the call via Zoom.

Blum told People that the opulent proposal is exactly Fenoli’s style, as “anyone who knows Randy personally or on television knows, the word ‘overstated’ is not in his vocabulary.” .”
“I am the king of the bride. I’ve been doing this bridal job for 30 years and honestly, I never thought it would happen to me,” Fenoli told People.
Fenoli said they are planning to get married aboard Princess Cruises with stops in Greece, Italy and Istanbul, so the soon-to-be couple can celebrate with Kobal’s friends and family in Turkey.
