Pathaan is one of the most anticipated upcoming movies. Starring Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone and John Abraham, director Siddharth Anand promises thrilling action sequences. The film was billed as part of Aditya Chopra’s spy universe. Now, the producers have revealed that Pathaan has an interesting connection with Tom Cruise.
Director Siddharth Anand, who is best known for films like War and Bang Bang!, opened up about Pathaan’s connection to Tom Cruise. He explains, “When one starts making an epic Indian action film with one of our country’s all-time great heroes, Shah Rukh Khan, you need to have an unbeatable team. The enemy is united in vision. Thankfully, we have an A-team working together to boost our image with Pathaan and I’m delighted to have someone like Casey O’Neill, who has worked extensively with Tom Cruise, by our side.”
For those who don’t know, O’Neill is an Emmy-nominated action director who has staged a number of death-defying stunts in films like Mission Impossible and Top Gun: Maverick, plus other movies. He has also worked on Marvel projects such as Captain America Winter Soldier.
