South Korean officials say The Squid Game actor O Yeong-su has been charged with sexual harassment.
According to prosecutors, the 78-year-old man was accused of inappropriately touching a woman in 2017.
The woman first filed a complaint in December 2021 but the case was dropped in April without charge.
“At the request of the victim,” the case is now being reopened, Yonhap news agency said.
Mr O has denied the allegation, local media reported.
Yonhap said he has been charged but has not been detained.

Following the allegation, Seoul’s culture ministry stopped broadcasting government advertisements in which he appeared.
Squid Game is the most popular show in Netflix history.
It tells the story of debtors, including Mr O’s character, competing in a series of deadly games for cash prizes.
