Stocks: Outperform the Bears: These Stocks Can Offer Good Returns

Since January, the Nifty has fallen more than 9% amid the global stock crisis triggered by central banks’ monetary tightening, increasing Commodity prices and growing fears of a recession in the US.

The Nifty Mid-cap Index is down nearly 13% in 2022, while the Nifty Small-cap is down 25%. Analysts’ earnings estimates fell net in June, marking the seventh straight month when next year’s estimates have been cut.

This is expected to put pressure on the stock price. Of the two dozen stocks that have performed better so far in 2022, about 15 are expected to offer return between 15% and 30% in a year, according to Bloomberg consensus estimates. ET has compiled a list of such stocks, tracked by more than five analysts.
