Sydney’s Tina: Tina Turner Musical ongoing with post-pandemic performances Rock and roll legend dies aged 83published today.

“Tina Turner’s contribution as an iconic artist and musical performer, her influence on fellow artists, and her inspiration to generations next, is legendary,” the statement read.
“Through her life story and music, Tina Turner has inspired and taught so many people around the world to find strength from within. This is a loss that will be felt deeply.

“Words cannot express our feelings, so we look to each other to share the love, respect, and kindness she has shared with us. Her legacy lives on. many beautiful ways as we mourn a legendary woman.Our love, thoughts, and prayers go out to the family of Erwin Bach and Tina.

The musical began performing earlier this month, the company said, adding that performances would “continue as planned”, with Australian performances ending in October of this year.

The musical is the Australian rendition of Tina Turner’s story, which debuted on Broadway in the US only a year ago.
The musical was performed at the Theater Royal in Sydney, and stars Ruva Ngwenya as Turner and Tim Omaji aka Timomatic as her ex-husband, Ike.
