The Delphi case gains national attention as Libby’s cousin races in the Bristol Dust Race

DELPHI – The Delphi death investigation is getting national attention again – this time on the track.

Joshua Lank Jr., 18 years old, is Liberty German’s cousin.

Lank races and is competing in Bristol Dirt Nationals this weekend.

Lank’s car had posters of the man wanted in connection with the deaths of Liberty German and Abigail Williams printed on the hood.

The vehicle design also includes two QR codes that allow anyone to download the suspect’s video.

Lank said putting the poster on the hood was his decision and he wanted to do something to help his family.

“My father… he put it on his street the year of the incident where he had a car. I entered the race the following year and I just thought – do my part. to promote,” Lank said.

His hood isn’t the only physical connection to her cousin and friend. Lank also wears his ‘lucky bracelet’ named Libby and Abby.

He says it brings him luck in his races and he hopes that remains true when he races in Bristol this weekend.

“Click the sound. If someone knows the voice, call the tip line and get it. This guy’s day is numbered, I promise you. It’s coming to an end,” Lank said.
