Prince Harry and Meghan, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, have released a photo of their daughter Lilibet to celebrate her first birthday.
In the photo, Lilibet, full name Lilibet Diana Mountbatten-Windsor, is wearing a blue dress and sitting on the grass, with a white bow in her red hair.
In honor of her birthday, close friends and family have been invited for a “casual, intimate picnic in the backyard at Frogmore Cottage,” the Duke and Duchess shared via a spokesman.
“Dear family friend and guest, Misan Harriman, who attended Lilibet’s special day with his wife and children, took this natural, natural photo that the Duke and Duchess of happy to share today.”
A special cake was prepared by Claire Ptak for Lilibet at Violet Bakery, who created the Duke and Duchess’s wedding cake in 2018.
The couple also expressed gratitude to those who have raised money through World Central Kitchen in honor of Lilibet, an organization that provides food assistance during crises. More than $100,000 has been raised, the statement said.
