Version of seven dragon pearls extra in the Japanese original now available on Crunchyroll in all English-speaking regions, except the United Kingdom, Ireland and Northern Europe. Earlier this year, Crunchyroll added dub versions of Dragon ball, seven dragon pearlsand Dragon Ball GT.
seven dragon pearls is the sequel series of the original Dragon ball anime. It adapts the second half of the manga series, following the protagonist Goku in his adult life. OG Dragon ball anime premiered in 1986, with seven dragon pearls followed in 1989. It ran for 291 episodes and ended in 1995.
There have been two follow-up series since then: Dragon Ball GT, premiered in 1996, and 2015 Super Dragon Ball, is now streaming on Crunchyroll. The franchise is one of the most iconic anime series and certainly a very familiar one to US audiences. In fact, one Goku Bubbles Released at the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in 2018, and has appeared in every parade since.
A new Dragon Ball movie, Dragon Ball Super: Super Herowill hit US theaters next week on August 19.
