The Lord of the Rings: Gollum in its entirety leaked on YouTube ahead of its release



The Lord of the Rings: Gollum launches this Thursday, May 25, but the entire game has been leaked online ahead of its release.

We’re not sharing or affiliated with any spoilers here, but someone posted a full-game tutorial video on YouTube. The video was later taken down, but it remained online for several hours before being removed. There are threads on both Reddit and resetera discussing the leaked footage. IGN has reached out to developer Daedalic Entertainment for comment.

On Thursday, The Lord of the Rings: Gollum will launch on PlayStation 5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC. A Nintendo Switch version is planned for sometime later this year.

Players will sneak around Middle-earth while making choices to match the darker Gollum or the softer Sméagol. The game will also feature stealth and parkour elements.

It’s a long way to go to release Gollum, as the game was originally slated for a 2021 launch. a pile of delayswe learned about its current release date earlier this year.

We went practice with the game back in March, and we said, “The Lord of the Rings: Gollum at least makes a good first impression, sketching a solid case for controlling one of the weirdest characters. but the most important in the lore.”
