Jennifer Lopez had a successful year after returning to rom-coms with Marry melaunched her own Netflix documentary and, we won’t forget, married to Ben Affleck. But it looks like 2023 will also be a big year for the superstar: She has another comedy, Unexpected weddingon the way and now, MotherHer new horror movie, headed to Netflix.
First movie make news in early 2021, just one of the projects in Lopez’s multi-year deal with the streamer, through which she’ll produce a number of film and television titles, both scripted and unscripted. As her on-screen empire continues to grow, here’s what we can expect from Mother while we wait for the big release.

According to the official diary, “A deadly female assassin escapes to protect the daughter she abandoned many years ago, while on the run from dangerous people.” You can guess who Lopez will play.
When will it be released?
Mother through May 2023 on Netflix (in time for Mother’s Day), though an exact release date is not yet available.

Who is in the cast?
Joining Lopez on-screen are Joseph Fiennes and Gael Garcia Bernal (both playing “dangerous men”), Lucy Paez (as her daughter), Omari Hardwick (as an FBI agent and ally of the FBI). character of Lopez), and Paul Raci (another ally).
