Creed Whittemore from Gainesville. his brother, Trentplay on Florida Football team. The three-star athletes have been committed to the Gators for more than five months.
But after a recent visit Mississippi State, Whittemore decided to overturn his commitment to the Bulldogs. It’s a big win for the coach Mike Leach and his staff, who added another weapon to their Air Strike attack.
Whittemore was an interesting prospect in many respects, but mainly because he played quarterback in high school and was predicted to be a wide receiver in college. That’s where his brother plays for the Gators, albeit with limited ability, and his other brother, Troy, plays in Troy.
This season at Gainesville (Fla.) Buchholz, Whittemore has thrown 920 yards with 11 touches and 3 touches, while also dashing 340 yards and 6 points. That ability, plus competing in athletics, makes him an interesting widescreen show in the SEC.

Set-ups like this shouldn’t be missed at times, and Whittemore feels it’s an easy win for Gator and someone who can catch so many passes and make Florida’s attack easier. . He’s not a big difference-maker or the biggest draw in the country, but not every commitment needs to be. Sometimes you need that way out, that guy will be a reliable pass catcher besides being a phenomenal athlete and know the game well since he’s a midfield midfielder. learn.
Florida is doing well with this cyclical recipient recruitment and I especially think Eugene Wilson and Aidan Mizell were exceptionally talented people, so Whittemore was not a serious loss.
