The PlayStation 5 DualSense controller has dropped back to the price we saw on Black Friday. You can get several different colors for as little as $49 each, a massive drop from its $70-$75 MSRP. Note that none of these controllers are likely to arrive before Christmas. Most colors have a ship date that runs through early January.

The new PS5 DualSense is one of the most advanced controllers on the market. Once you’ve got your hands on and tried this controller, you’ll begin to understand why it’s priced so high (though it’s still competitive with the prices of the official Xbox Series X and Nintendo Switch controllers). DualSense features haptic feedback, adaptive triggers, built-in microphones and speakers, built-in trackpad, internal gyroscope and accelerometer for motion sensing, USB Type-C charging and native compatibility with Windows (by cable or wirelessly via Bluetooth). This is definitely the best controller for PS5 at this price point.

Crucial’s latest M.2 SSD meets all the requirements for upgrading your PS5 SSD. It supports transfer speeds of up to 6,660 MB/s, much higher than the minimum threshold of 5,500 MB/s. Yes, there are faster SSDs out there, but if your intention is to get this into the PS5, that extra speed is useless because you’re bottlenecked by the original PS5 SSD. Don’t have a PS5 yet? You’re lucky. Thankfully, the PlayStation 5 console has become a little easier to find this holiday season. It’s still sold out in most places, but not all. Walmart has a PS5 Disc Edition console bundle with God of War: Ragnarok in stock right away. There is no queue or invitation to wait. There is no guarantee that they will last much longer in stock.
