Remember in 2006 when we had a Scar face game setting after the end of the classic gangster movie of the 80s? It’s a weird setup, but the end result is a bit sloppy, but quite interesting GTA-like open world game. Apparently it did well enough that the sequel started to develop, but it never ended. However, new footage has since been canceled Scar face The sequel has appeared online, giving us a good look at the unprecedented sequel.

Newly released footage of this never-before-released sequel, called Scarface Empire, come to the support of the YouTube channel Mafia Game Videos. Scene shows the original build of the game, introducing a new Las Vegas setting, upgraded graphics, improved combat, and plenty of swear words.

Scarface 2 (2008) | Game canceled

Footage from the Mafia Game Video shows fighting and driving, as well as a new so-called “revival” mechanic that will help Tony survive encounters with random armed thugs. This can act like a quick time event (QTE), allowing players to recover if they succeed or die if they fail. The video also shows off a ton of concept art supposedly for a sequel that was never released.

On Twitter, Mafia Games Videos shared more clips and screenshots of the original build. The channel also shares information about the engine that is said to power the game, explaining that it is using modified technology that first appeared in the open world. Hulk The game is developed by Radical Entertainment. That technology will also continue to power the studio’s open world Prototype Game.

Rumors have long swirled around a Scar face A sequel is in development, but this is the first footage of the game to appear since its demise.

The first Scar face The game’s idea that Tony Montana somehow survived the big gunfight at the end of the original movie was always a bit silly, and certainly missed the whole point of the movie. But it also allowed the developers at Radical Entertainment to create a new rich story with the hot gangster as he rebuilds his empire. And certainly, in many ways, the game is just one GTA: Vice City clone, but to be fair, GTA Vice City in so many ways Scar face clonal line. So it just seems fair. Plus, the game has become a pretty hilarious PS2-era open-world crime caper. Sometimes the big mindless shootings and the virtual drug trade just happen on the spot, you know?

While that’s unlikely, I’d love to see the first game modernized or re-released to make it easier to play in 2022. I’d rather play that than fix Townat least.
