Battlefield 2.0It’s been out for a while, but not everyone is happy with some of the changes battle royale received in its latest iteration. When, where and how you access the load have seen such an uncommon change. However, Raven Software recently announced that Buy Stations will once again grant you access to your entire load via grenade drop.

Loadouts, including guns, equipment, field upgrades, and a set of stat modifiers, are essential to play call of duty. In the original Battlefield, while you spawn with only one pistol, you can quickly purchase a “drop” for your entire gear at the handy Buy Station. But when Battlefield 2.0 launched recently, it locked the player’s entire load behind dangerous AI-held strongholds and offloaded random loads (which every other player would compete against). Buy Stations only allows you to purchase primary weapons when reloading, a major change that has not been very satisfying for players. Today that changes.

With a holiday-themed tweet, Raven Software has revealed that “Loadout Drop Grenades” resembles the original. Battlefieldcurrently living in Battlefield 2.0.

Depending on the battle royale mode you’re playing, the price will vary but the functionality remains the same. For the prices listed below, you can equip a “grenade” that allows you to call a bomb to drop wherever you throw it.

  • Solo: 8,000 USD
  • Duo: $16,000
  • Trio: 24,000 USD
  • Quads: $32,000

The quad pricing certainly feels high, though some might argue that the advantage of the full download, the perks and all, must come with some challenges. (As many players have discovered, Secure Jailbreak contracts are by far the fastest and easiest way to make money. Intel Recovery isn’t a bad choice either.)

When Battlefield 2.0 has some cool new features such as AI guarded stronghold, need to clear space or wait for random drop to get your payload more like a “you should eat your veggies” quest “from the game. With time limits imposed by the end round and other players, not having access to your full load quickly has ruined the experience for many.

At first glance, I feel that current prices for grenades that drop when loaded seem to maintain a certain balance. And Raven Software has emphasized that they will be monitoring how this affects the overall effect Battlefield 2.0 experience, can make changes when necessary. Either way, I’ll use my tactic of hiding to the end and killing the last ones in the cheapest way possible.
