To wrap up today’s PlayStation Showcase, Sony and Insomniac have announced major sites for a fresh look at Spider-Man 2. The long-awaited sequel is currently targeting a release this fall and an extended game series that shows us what we can expect.
ONE cinematic opening reveals some insight into the villain Kraven the Hunter. Tired of easy prey in the deep jungle, one of his minions suggests moving to a new hunting ground in New York, where the likes of Spider-Man, Black Cat, and Tombstone promise challenging goals. more awake.

The rest of the series is just as interesting, from a splash in the water to a run-of-the-mill escape along the water when the Lizard tries to attack from below. From animation to pacing to camera action – the whole sequence doesn’t look like it will feel out of place in the next Marvel Cinematic Universe movie. Except, of course, Spider-Man 2 is a fully interactive experience where the player controls two Spider-Man along the way.
When the extended demo ends, we see Peter acting in a very different way from Peter, doubling down on the aggressive and dangerous tendencies he exhibits throughout the sequence, making Miles worry about his friend and his advisor.
