Fate 2′S Season of the Haunted is here to bring back a fan-favorite villain that players have never known: Emperor Calus. While his ship Leviathan is now back in the system and completely filled with ghosts, they’re not the only ones causing some haunting this season.
Calus can be heard throughout the now derelict Leviathan, especially during patrols and public events such as Nightmare control, where he will provide a glimpse of his motives and desires. However, while we have yet to see Calus in the flesh this season, we have seen him in some of Leviathan’s darkest corners.
According to Season of the Haunted Seal, players should expect to touch a Calus car six times during this season’s weekly mission, Sever. Hearing all six messages from Calus will reward the player who wins the Hear, Don’t Heed, which they will need to complete the Seal and unlock the title of Reaper.
For the first week, you can find the remains of one of Calus’ autopilots shortly after starting the Crow-focused Sever Shame quest. Once you’ve put down Eris Morn’s first beacon, the game directs you to a small opening into a winding passage of vents. When you appear on the other side, you can follow the marker to your target on the left or turn right. If you turn right, you’ll find Calus’ dissected robot in the corner, and approaching it will bring it to life.
Calus will speak to you directly at this point, forgiving you about your last hostile encounter with him, and inviting you to “go back and enjoy what’s to come” when he and Ball dark invades everything you know.
Since the season has only just begun, that’s all for now, but we’ll continue to update this article with more slots for Calus’ robots in the coming weeks. Meanwhile, Season of the Haunted is filled with Challenges to overcomeAnd while looking for him, you can also check out our guide on where to find him Calus heads around Leviathan.
