Sania KhanA 29-year-old photographer is believed to have been killed by her ex-husband in a homicide last week in Chicago after sharing her divorce and healing journey on TikTok, according to The Chicago Sun-Times. .
Khan, a Pakistani-American who moved to Chicago for a fresh start, was allegedly shot and killed by her ex-husband, Raheel Ahmed, 36, last Monday. She originally lived in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
Reports say the killer traveled from his home in Alpharetta, Georgia, to Khan’s apartment in Chicago before killing her and himself. Police found his ex-wife and Ahmed with gunshot wounds to the head in a mansion during a physical examination, reports said.
Reports indicate that when Chicago police knocked on Khan’s door around 4:30 p.m., they heard a gunshot and then a groan. Officers entered the house and found both Khan and Ahmed shot. The woman is presumed dead at the scene. The man later died of his injuries at a nearby hospital.

In previous videos shared on her TikTok account, Sania said she felt a lack of support from friends and family. She claims they warned her against divorcing her ex-husband. “Women are always expected to keep quiet,” says Khan. “That’s what got us into a mess in the first place. I’m done with this mentality.”
