Wrestlemania 38: The biggest surprises from the WWE PPV in 2022

While WWE hosts dozens of PPVs each year, Wrestlemania is the biggest. In fact, it was so big that it took place over two nights. And at Wrestlemania 38 in Dallas, Texas, the WWE event delivered plenty of big matches and some memorable moments.

Rick Boogs is injured

Shinsuke Nakamura’s teammate, Rick Boogs, sustained a serious injury on Night 1 that resulted in a quadriceps tear and a torn patellar tendon when he attempted to carry both of The Usos’ men on his back in a soldier’s piggyback. fire fight. He will most likely be sidelined for 6-12 months and need surgery. Considering the boost he’s received over the past few months, this is an astounding setback.

Logan Paul looks pretty good

When a celebrity is announced to be in a wrestling match, things can get a little complicated. Usually, celebrities aren’t looking for the best wrestlers. However, over the past few years, we’ve seen some good examples of the times celebrities have worked – mainly Bad Bunny. And in the match against Mysterios, Logan Paul leaned heavily on the heel strike, and it worked great. He pulls three cannonballs and a frog kick at Rey, and he’s really fun to watch in the ring – outside of a few oversoldiers. We can’t wait to see him again, which seems really weird to say.

Bianca Belair and Becky Lynch put on a great match

When Bianca and Becky booked a championship game at Wrestlemania, we all knew it was going to be good – but we didn’t know what it was like. that good. Bianca winning the championship was a great moment for the wrestler and well deserved. She and Becky made it into the clinic, and despite a few tough moments – mainly with Becky doing a flip and heel kicking in Bianca’s face – the duo pulled through and did the amazing thing.

Cody Rhodes is back

Cody Rhodes facing Seth Rollins is the worst kept secret in wrestling. As soon as Cody’s music hit, however, the roof of AT&T Stadium blew up. His admission presentation was top-notch, and even though we all knew it was coming, we weren’t prepared.

Steve Austin has one more game left

Like Cody Rhodes back, we knew Stone Cold would be up against Kevin Owens, and even though it’s been 19 years since Austin entered the ring, he’s performed well. Sure, there was some rust to begin with, but as the game progressed, Austin saw it right at home.

Triple H left his boots in the ring

Recently, Triple H announced that he will be retiring from wrestling after falling ill again in December. He opened Wrestlemania on Monday night, welcoming everyone, and after doing As such, he left his boots in the ring, indicating that he was about to give up wrestling.

Wee Man insults Sami Zayn

When the Jackass guys got into this matchup, we knew it was going to be some fun heck of a game. What we didn’t expect was Wee Man’s body crashing into Sami Zayn. This song got at AT&T Stadium was huge.

Austin appeared on Night 2, stunning Vince McMahon, Austin Theory, Pat McAfee

After McAfee won on Austin Theory, Vince McMahon had some cheap shots in McAfee. After a brief breakdown, Austin stepped out into the ring, drank a few beers, and stunned everyone. This leads to a great shot of a stunned McAfee drinking a beer on the ground right next to the box.
